About the Role

Join the automation tools and technology team at HeadSpin! You'll work directly with our Appium Project Lead (and the one in charge of HeadSpin University) to help make automation training at HeadSpin awesome. From helping manage HeadSpin University courses, content, and students, to putting together your own curricula for teaching people all about the HeadSpin automation cloud, you'll be a key part of our mission to make UX testing accessible to all.

What You'll Do

  • Learn and understand the technical details of the HeadSpin cloud and be responsible for training new clients, running presentations and hands-on sessions.
  • Take your training and produce various levels of written and video content for use on the HeadSpin blog and HeadSpin university, to make it easy to scale knowledge of how to make the best use of our service.
  • Represent HeadSpin at conferences and events and create interesting and exciting demos and workshops to lead.
  • Assist in the management of HeadSpin university as a TA/instructor, grading course submissions and down the line even contributing your own courses.

What You’ll Need

  • To be an experienced tester who knows the ins and outs of Selenium and Appium.
  • Have solid software engineering experience and background (you'll be teaching developers and testers), with facility in multiple popular programming languages.
  • Great communicator and teacher with proven ability to write well.
  • Bachelor’s degree

Bonus Points

  • A portfolio of developer- or tester-focused content.
  • Previous experience in an education content development environment.
  • Previous experience with producing A/V material.
