A step by step workshop demonstrating how to set up an Appium automation script to automate a simple react native app. This workshop will cover environment setup, identifying elements through the Appium IDE, writing our first simple test, and executing our automation tests. There will also be a demonstration of a real life production script running for a Fortune 500 company. Key learnings will include environment setup, understanding the architecture of Appium, interacting with the various app elements and finally execution of automation tests and building into a production workflow. All code samples will be made available for attendees after Testing Talks Conference 2021.
